The Gospel

We love because God first loved us (1 John 4:19).

Jesus Christ laid down His life for those who receive Him as Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10). Because of the fall (Genesis 3), we are all dead in our sins and deserving of Gods wrath. But God, in His unfailing love, sent His only Son to take our place so that we will not remain dead in our sin, but rather have eternal life (John 3:16). We are desperate sinners in need of a savior. And we are grateful beyond measure for the saving grace that is in Christ Jesus alone. His blood is our atonement and is a gift given freely to all who will receive it.

Without the Gospel, our work is meaningless. We do what we do because He did what He did. Our work is done for God’s glory alone, not ours. Our works are an outpouring of the love and grace we can freely give because we have freely received it.

We aren’t perfect – as individuals or as an organization – but we fall into the amazing grace that God has for us. We are learning and growing and doing all we can to walk in obedience to the Lord, trusting in Him fully.
