Partner in Prayer

One of the most important ways you can be involved in our organization is through prayer.

The Bible tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), to pray with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6, Colossians 4:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18), to cast our burdens upon the Lord (Psalm 55:22), to intercede for others in prayer (1 Timothy 2:1), and to gather together in community and unity to pray (Matthew 18:20).

At Live Beyond Words, we are in constant need of prayer and we hope you will consider praying for us as a church, small group, family, or as an individual in your personal time with God.

Here are a few of our ongoing prayer requests:

  • For the leaders of our organization – that our relationship with God would remain unhindered, that the Lord would sustain and protect us, and that we would be blessed with vision, wisdom, perseverance, and integrity.
  • For God to bless our relationship with our partners in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
  • That the Congolese people would be receptive to us and that we would know how to meet their needs in the best possible way.
  • For the children, that they would come to know the love of the ultimate Father and would experience healing, hope, and salvation through His son, Jesus.
  • That others would accept God’s prompting to join our movement – that they would give their time, financial resources, and open their hearts to God’s biblical command to care for the oppressed and orphans in distress.
  • Praise and give thanks to God for this movement and those who will come to know His name as a result, both here in the United States and in D.R. Congo.
  • Prayer for travel plans and protection of US staff members traveling to and from DRC.

Here are a few of our specific prayer requests:

  • For the orphanages we work with – that God would sustain these children and help us meet their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.
  • For the continued growth of the agricultural sustainability project for the Kimwenza orphanage.
  • For the leaders and workers at the Joyce Medical center.

Thank you so much for partnering with us in prayer. We believe that your prayers sustain our organization, keep us grounded in God’s Word, and help us maintain integrity while reaching those in need. If you have more specific questions on how you can partner with us in other ways, please contact us at info@livebeyondwords.org

Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored […]. (2 Thessalonians 3:1 ESV)
