Open Minded Youth

This year Live Beyond Words began a new partnership with Open Minded Youth.  The Organization seeks to empower youth in Kinshasa by challenging them to have a mind with great vision, big thinking, and one that takes initiative.  Above all, the mindset is driven by the sovereignty and authority of God through Jesus Christ who provides us all with ultimate fulfillment in life.

Our partnership enabled an outreach to support The Cries of the Orphan Home as well as a leadership camp to be held in August with nearly 100 young people attending!  Praise God for the wonderful work he is doing through this ministry to support and empower the next generation in DRC!

Joyce Medical Center

The Joyce Medical Center continues to provide much needed care for children and mothers around Maluku, DR Congo.  In October the center suffered some damages due to flooding.  By God’s grace funds were provided through Live Beyond Words to make the necessary repairs and get the center back up and running quickly.  Live Beyond Words also continues to assist in procurement of medicines and examination equipment to allow the center to provide quality care.

The local community is utilizing the center regularly for ailments ranging from minor to major and mothers continue to have a place to get care while giving birth!

Please pray for the many men, women, and children that pass through this facility every day and the many doctors and nurse who administer the care to them.
